Viewpoint Community Media encourages comment, free expression and open debate, but may remove comments or submissions if they are deemed illegal, abusive or otherwise contrary to our equal opportunities or other policies.
If you comment or submit material to Viewpoint Community Media website(s) then the Trust collects and stores additional information from you in order to let you do this. This information may be published to make the comments system work. This typically works by your registering on the website(s) and in the process submitting basic details. We do not make public your contact details, although you may be informed by us if another user has commented on your submission(s). Only provide other information if you are willing for it to be published on the internet.
If you become a member of the Viewpoint Community Media Trust or make a donation to it, then the data collected about you for that purpose is private and is held securely by the Viewpoint Community Media Trust or by its service providers, such as PayPal.
For members of the Viewpoint Community Media, the Trust will use information provided by you as part of your membership registration to contact you about the work of the Trust, Trust meetings and your annual membership renewals.
If you act as a volunteer for Viewpoint Community Media we may collect basic information about you such as contact details and personal requirements. These are to enable us to reach you readily and to ensure our Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety Policies are observed. We will not share this information outside Viewpoint Community Media without your permission.
